Modaber is a smart on-demand delivery platform operating in Oman, serving the Saham and North Al Batinah region. Operated by Al Salam Distinctive Secrets for Trading and Contracting LLC, Modaber connects customers with local restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries, and vendors offering a unique AI-powered WhatsApp ordering experience alongside the mobile app.
The ecosystem — 3 apps built:
1 — User App (Customer)
The main customer-facing app published on Google Play. Customers browse restaurants and vendor catalogs, place food and grocery orders, track deliveries in real time, and access special deals and promotions. Features easy ordering flow, real-time order tracking, and secure payment options.
2 — Vendor App (Modaber Vendors)
Used by restaurant and business partners to manage their storefront, update menus and products, receive and confirm incoming orders, and mark orders ready for captain pickup. Keeps vendors fully in sync with the live order flow.
3 — Captain App (Modaber Captain)
The driver-side app used by Modaber's delivery fleet in Oman. Captains receive order assignments instantly, navigate to pickup and drop-off points, and update delivery status at each step — all synced in real time to the customer app via Firebase.
Unique feature — WhatsApp AI ordering:
Beyond the app, Modaber offers a WhatsApp AI assistant as an ordering channel, allowing customers to place orders by simply sending a message — making the platform accessible to users who prefer messaging over apps. This is a standout differentiator in the Omani market.
